Obama's arrival in Israel Welcomed Two rockets from Gaza



JERUSALEM - Two rockets fired from Gaza hit the southern border town in Israel on Thursday (21/3). The action was immediately getting harsh criticism from U.S. President Barack Obama, who is on a visit to the Jewish state.
Muhaddin Al Shura Council, a group with ties to al-Qaeda, claimed responsibility for the attack on the town of Sderot near Gaza leader region. The attack did not cause casualties or injuries but damaging the side of the building.
The movement said in a statement on the internet stating launched two rocket attacks during Obama's visit to show their attacks can not be stopped Israel's air defense - a reference to the anti-missile equipment 'Iron Dome' of Israel which is partly funded U.S..
Obama, who was in Jerusalem about 80 kilometers from Sderot when the rockets hit, later told reporters that depends on Hamas, which controls Gaza, to stop such attacks.
"We condemn this violation of the ceasefire that protects Israelis and Palestinians, an offense that Hamas has a responsibility to prevent it," Obama said on a visit in the region, in the city of Ramallah.
Second rocket attacks from Gaza have hit Israeli territory since the ceasefire group movement was never signed, ending the war in cross-border eight days in November 2012.
